Nominations Open Next Week

The Nomination process for the companies that wish to present their Dream, Vision and Product on-stage for the upcoming event, will begin next week. I believe I have not written about the decision in terms of the frequency of the event. Good News: Proto.in Summer ‘07

Well, the "Summer Edition" of Proto.in is coming up soon. That has been something you have been hearing for quite sometime for now.The dates are fixed on the third week of July, as 21st and 22nd of the month. Proto.in Second Edition: Coming up!

The Second Edition of Proto.in is in the works. It is tentatively planned in about six months from now, and with the interest that the event has gathered from its initiation, it seems like there are going to be a lot of big names present during this upcoming edition, along with some very interesting companies that will be presenting their products to the audience and to the VC community. The Post-Proto Buzz

Proto is over and the buzz is all over the blogosphere. You wouldn't believe how many new sites that focus on Indian startups are popping up as a result of that and how many of them want to review all the companies that presented during Proto. End of Proto. in 2007

Proto.in 2007 came to an end with fantastic feedbacks. We are already considering to get started for the next edition of the event. There are suggestions to make this more frequent than a yearly event and we are definitely considering it. There is a meetup session planned next week to do an after-analysis of the event and depending on that, the dates and occurrence of the next edition will be announced. Proto Preview: Attendance

We have 90 entrepreneurs, 15 VCs, a few Angel Investors, 150 Professionals and about 50 students who have registered for the event as of today and we are getting on an average 10-12 new registrations everyday and rising in numbers. The media that have confirmed their presence includes The Hindu, Economic Times, Deccan Chronicle, India Today, RedHerring, EFY.
