Sudhir Syal has been associated with from the very beginning and is one of the core members of the organization. By day, he is the Founder and Editor of Starting Up, the only business television show which covers the passion and energy of the Indian start-up community. As part of the show, Sudhir has profiled over 300 early stage start-ups in the country across sectors like Clean Technology, Web, Software and Mobile.

Sudhir has been invited to share his views on the Indian start-up world at prestigious institutions like the Wharton Business School and at the Indian School of Business. He heads the nomination panel at

John Verbic, Founder, Trep Up

John Verbic is an Entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in Investment Banking and Private Equity. He was formerly the Global Co-Head of Private Equity Giant ING.

Today, John is based out of Mumbai and is building Trep Up, a start-up he best describes as ‘Linked In for Companies’

Ravi Narayan, Founder & MD, Mentor Square

Ravi Narayan has been one of’s oldest supporters from its early beginnings in 2007. He is the CEO and Co- Founder of MentorSquare. MentorSquare is a global business network of highly successful entrepreneurs and business professionals who are actively committed to helping SMEs and start-ups experience business success.

Ravi is a serial entrepreneur having started American Systems International (ASI) providing IT solutions for the US federal market, Nextone Communications (sold to Genband), a global leader in the VoIP space and Astuto Networks (sold to Ismart International), an India based company specializing in network infrastructure products for the emerging markets. He has also worked at various technical and management levels for IBM and Hughes Network Systems.

Shalin Jain, Founder, Ten Miles

Shalin Jain is a alumni, he is the founder of Ten Miles Software, a product software company which has a suite of products including Helpdesk Pilot, a ticket based E-mail customer service solution and Do Attend, an Saas product used for events.

He has been a big supporter of and is also an active volunteer

Sukumar Sreenivasan, President, The Knowledge Foundation

An entrepreneur in his own right, Sukumar is the president of The Knowledge Foundation which apart from organizes a number of events dedicated to the spreading of knowledge in the fields of technology, media and education. Some of The Knowledge Foundation’s other events include Bar Camp, Pod Works, Wiki Camp and Search Camp

He is also the founder of and has experience spreading over 15 years in the leather industry.

Athreya Prasad

Athreya is and IT professional turned startup junkie. He did his Computer Science Engineering studies at CEG, Anna University, and started his career at Tata Consultancy Services in the telecom sector. He holds an MBA from one of the top ranked universities in the world – ESADE Business School, Spain.

He had the opportunity to work with a leading Spanish business incubator that has launched more than 45 businesses in the internet space. He was a part of the Strategy and International business development team and has worked on strategies for three startups in the incubator. He currently works on new business & strategic initiatives for Redington India in his hometown Chennai. Athreya is also a National level swimmer and oars-person. He looks to startup his own venture in the near future.
